Opening Ceremony of the Conference

The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Huang Hui, deputy general manager of Shanghai Engineering Machinery Factory Co., Ltd. Liu Qianwei, chief engineer of Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Management Committee, Huang Maosong, vice president of the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society and professor of Tongji University, Wang Weidong, vice president of the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, director of the conference academic committee, and chief engineer of East China Construction Group Co., Ltd., and Gong Xiugang, director of the conference organizing committee and general manager of the organizer Shanghai Engineering Machinery Factory Co., Ltd., delivered speeches respectively.

Academic Exchange

During the conference, the conference organized 7 invited experts and 14 guest speakers to share their views on the theme of "green, low-carbon and digitalization".

Expert Invited Reports

7 experts including Zhu Hehua, Kang Jingwen, Nie Qingke, Li Yaoliang, Zhu Wuwei, Zhou Tonghe and Liu Xingwang gave invited reports.

The 21 reports of the conference were rich in content, closely linked to the theme, and broad in vision. They had both theoretical height, practical breadth, and technical depth. Gao Wensheng, Huang Maosong, Liu Yongchao, Zhou Zheng, Guo Chuanxin, Lin Jian, Lou Rongxiang, and Xiang Yan successively hosted academic reports.

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of the conference was hosted by Professor Chen Jinjian of Shanghai Jiaotong University, co-director of the organizing committee of this conference. Gong Xiaonan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the Coastal and Urban Geotechnical Engineering Research Center of Zhejiang University, delivered the closing speech; Wang Weidong, vice chairman of the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, director of the Academic Committee of the conference, and chief engineer of East China Construction Group Co., Ltd., summarized the conference and expressed his gratitude to the experts, leaders, units and individuals who supported this conference; Zhong Xianqi, chief engineer of Guangdong Foundation Engineering Company, made a statement on behalf of the organizer of the next conference, which will be held in Zhanjiang, Guangdong in 2026. After the meeting, honorary certificates were also issued to the co-organizers and co-sponsors of this conference.

Engineering and equipment inspection activities

On the 25th, the conference organizer organized the participating experts to visit the underground project site of Shanghai East Station, the Oriental Hub, in the morning, and organized a visit to the equipment of the 7th Product Exhibition of Shanghai Jintai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. in the afternoon, and further exchanges with domestic major engineering designers, contractors and construction equipment companies!

From November 26 to 29, bauma CHINA 2024 (Shanghai International Engineering Machinery, Building Materials Machinery, Mining Machinery, Engineering Vehicles and Equipment Expo) was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The conference organizer organized the participating experts to participate in the BMW Engineering Machinery Exhibition and further exchanges with domestic and foreign construction equipment companies!
